The 2024 eCitadel Open will be held May 17-19, 2024 and is free to enter. The competition runs from 8 AM Central time on May 17th through 10:00 PM Central time on May 19th. Teams have a 4 hour competition window to work on the provided virtual machines and challenges (which starts when a team logs into the competition portal). Teams choose when their 4 hour window begins, but they must complete all their efforts by 10:00 PM Central time on May 19. There is no pausing/stopping of the 4 hour window - once you start competing you have a total of 4 hours to work on ALL the provided virtual machines and challenges.

Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.

Three practice VMs (two Linux and one Windows) and a practice web-based challenge will be available during a practice round on May 12-13, 2024. An extra 10 points will be awarded to all teams that participate in the practice round.
